Charts

Cashflow

Budgets, categories, and spending discipline. Each budget picks funding accounts and a cap per account; categories split that budget's dollar cap.

Budgets

A budget holds categories for pace stats. Choose one or more funding accounts and set a cap (%) on each. For a budget with dates, an account's funding is its balance on the start date plus income through the end date; for an ongoing budget it's the account's all-time income. Category totals within a budget cannot exceed that budget's dollar cap.

Charity

Tithe, individuals, and organizations — who you give to and how much.

Tithe

Your church or tithe recipient. Tag Charity transactions in Accounting to count them here.

Individuals

Gifts to people — family, friends, neighbors. Usually not tax-deductible.

Organizations

Nonprofits and charities. Hide instead of delete; restore from Show hidden.

Taxes

Realized trading gains by holding period, your IRS rates, and what you actually paid each year.

Tax estimate

Gains come from closed trade legs: held more than one year is long term, otherwise short term. A net loss in one term offsets gains in the other. Enter rates from the IRS tables for your bracket — estimates stay blank until you do.

Taxable events

Every closed or partially closed trade leg in the year, newest first.

Previous years

Tax paid comes from what you enter for each year (match your accountant's figures). Ratio is tax paid ÷ year-end brokerage balance.
